If you are looking for a Pet Friendly Community - you just found it!

Discover a pet-friendly community like no other

A haven for pet owners

Of course, your furry friend is an important part of your family. It is not only a "pet". it is a family member. That's why we're proud to introduce you to Oyster Creek, a community that warmly welcomes pets with open arms.

No restrictions on size, breed, or number of pets

Oyster Creek Golf and Country Club has no limitations when it comes to your beloved pets. Whether you have a small pup or a large breed companion, rest assured that they are more than welcome here. Shepherd, Pit Bull, Chihuahua or Poodle - it doesn't matter. However, If someone is found chewing on their neighbor, they must relocate to a different space.

A mindful approach

While we want you to enjoy the company of your furry friends, it's important to maintain a harmonious living environment for everyone. Oyster Creek suggests having up to two dogs in each residence for optimal comfort and space; however, the number two is not written in stone.

A place to call home

Although fences are not permitted in Oyster Creek, you can still provide a safe and enjoyable space for your dog on the lanai of your home. It's a perfect spot for them to soak up the sun and enjoy the fresh air. Invisible fences are exactly what their name says - "invisible." Can you use those? Well, yes. As long as they are "invisible" nobody can complain. Right?

My Home is my Castle- my Truck is my Pet

My Truck is my Pet

Well, maybe, but technically anything with four wheels is a vehicle. But it doesn't really matter if you see it that way. Like your pet, your truck is also welcome in Oyster Creek. However, there are some rules in place because some people tend to go a little overboard if there are no restrictions.

Rule 1: If the truck has a company logo or any writing on it, that is a different story. Parking commercial trucks outside of the          garage is not permitted in the community.

Rule 2: If you are driving an old rust bucket you might not be too lucky either. Nobody wants to see your truck slowly but surely        crumbling away on your driveway. You have a perfectly restored "old-timer?" That is a different story. However, rule #1 still applies.

Rule 3: You have an 18 -wheeler? Good for you! But there is no space for it in in Oyster Creek. That "baby" has to stay somewhere outside of the community.

Rule 4: You have a boat on a trailer? Perfect, boating is a big thing in Florida. Unless you can squeeze the boat and trailer into your garage you are in hot water. Some homes have an extended garage but not too many. The trailer can stay outside for a couple of nights (to load or unload the boat). There are plenty of storage places and marinas in the area where you can leave your toy.

Rule 5: Other trailers. For jet skies or whatever. Rule 4 kicks in.

Rule 6: You love your RV. They are absolutely fun vehicles but they are not welcome to stay permanently in the community. They may stay for a couple of nights for loading or unloading. Your visiting family may also park it in your driveway for a couple of nights, but other than that you are out of luck.

If in doubt bring your "pet-truck" and ask the HOA or the management company if they like what they see, and if you are permitted to do what you intend to do. But be prepared: bribing doesn't work!

This is a different story - you may want to ask the HOA first before you bring it with you.
